Revelation chapters 17 & 18.

The purpose of chapters 17 & 18 is clearly stated in the last phrase of verse 1 which says, ‘Come, I will show
you _______________________________________________

______________________________________________________________________.

In these two chapters there are descriptions a ‘woman sitting on a _________________

____________________________’, the descriptions of the _______________________

Revelation 17: 1 – 6 is like an introduction describing two entities.  The ______________

In the overall vision, the woman ‘sits’ on 7 mountains which are the 7 heads of the beast,

(Verse 9), and also - on many  waters which are  peoples, multitudes, nations, and

tongues. (Verse 15).

To me – ‘7 mountains’ are all the mountains on earth and ‘peoples, multitudes, nations,

and tongues’ are all mankind at this time in history.

So, to me – the woman has subdued, is oppressing and controlling all of physical earth

and all mankind – she is ‘sitting’ on it all.

______________________________________________________________________.

In verse 10 there are ‘seven ______________’ (all kings under the beast) and in verse

physical).  satan as the spiritual king will be seen later in chapter 20.
