SPECIFIC  MISSION  INTERNATIONAL

A  REQUIREMENT  OF   QUALITY  LIFE  ---

       THE  NECESSITY  OF   REPENTANCE

The universal desire to live challenges all mankind.
The knowledge of approaching death demands attention.
Quality life both present and future – physical and spiritual ---
is greatly desirable to every human.  Many will give their physical life for the
hope / expectation of life after death / eternal life.

*** Repentance to our Creator / God  --- ETERNAL HOPE !!

*** Repentance to mankind -- QUALITY LIFE ON EARTH -- IN HEAVEN !

“Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”  Matthew 4: 17.
Jesus Christ has given to us a declarative statement.
“I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”   Luke 13:
3.
Jesus Christ tells us the necessity of repentance for eternal life.
“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all
men everywhere to repent.”   Acts 17: 30.
God’s message to all mankind is to repent.

Every human being of a sound mind has made mistakes, made wrong
choices == sinned.
Definition of ‘sin’ from Webster’s New World Dictionary;
1)        The willful breaking of religious or moral law. 2) Any offence or fault.

The result of sin brings guilt, sadness, emotional anxiety, anger – separation
from God and mankind.  Known unrepentant sin fosters nervousness,
sleeplessness, severe emotional outburst, broken relationships and a lack
of peace with God, self and mankind.
SIN is a reality in ALL mankind and the results of sin effects everyone.

From creation, God guaranteed to mankind --- freedom – freedom of choice.
As our Creator knew from the beginning --- we would all, with our freedom –
sin.
God our creator loved us and made a provision for the forgiveness of
personal sin.
God’s provision paid for sin through the death of Jesus Christ -- offered to
all mankind.
***Thus anyone and all who believe in God – sincerely confess their sins
through Jesus Christ (Jesus is the one who paid the penalty / the only one
who can forgive) in obedience to God’s plan will receive forgiveness /
salvation and have a home in heaven after physical death.

Anyone / everyone MAY ask our Creator God / Jesus Christ for forgiveness
of their sins.
An example of a sinner’s prayer:
The prayer must be YOUR prayer spoken sincerely to out Creator.

Dear heavenly Father;  I believe that you are the Creator of all things.    I
know that I am a sinner, separated from you by my sins.  I know that Your
Son Jesus Christ came to earth, died for my sins and was resurrected from
death by Your power.  Please – forgive my sins -- please come into my heart
and be Lord of my life.        Thank You Lord – Amen.

**Any person who truly sincerely seeks God in this / or similar manner will
find peace with God our Creator and Jesus Christ will prepare a home for
you in Heaven.

***REPENTANCE can bring PEACE with God our creator !!
Please see --- ‘Repentance – the Way to Salvation’  at  www.spmint.com

*** Repentance can ALSO bring peace with mankind.

“If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent,
forgive them.  Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven
times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”   (Luke 17:
3 – 4.) NIV.

In these 2 verses is a direct quote from Jesus Christ that instructs us in
person to person relationships in this life.

**The person offended goes to the offender ------
**The forgiveness is conditioned on ‘If they repent’.  -----
**To forgive is mandatory, ‘you must forgive’.

Everyone can easily recognize / remember occasions when you were
offended, hurt – sinned against by someone else and that offence left a
broken relationship.  Personal experiences in all of us tell us that if we fail
to work out these offences, they only become worse.  Thus proving the
correctness of Jesus’ teaching.
Jesus also taught in Matthew 5: 23 – 24, “Therefore if you bring your gift to
the alter, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
leave your gift there before the alter, and go your way.  First be reconciled
to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”
**Thus the scriptures teaches us that both the offended and the offender
are to quickly settle their problems / offences / sins.
And all that depends on ‘IF’ each person can come to agreement, ‘repent’ to
each other.
The one who goes to the other must go with a humble and repentant
attitude.
If you are not received / no reconciliation, then there is not peace and there
awaits a time  when reconciliation will be realized.

“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God,”  1 Peter
4: 17.
(That judgment is during the millennial reign of Christ.  Revelation 20: 4 – 6).

Please reference Matthew 19: 28, “So Jesus said to them, Assuredly I say to
you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His
glory, you who have followed Me  will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the
twelve tribes of Israel.”

**The above verses combined together give us a very important teaching.
First consider this scenario;
When you arrive at your heavenly home, you find that your next door
neighbor is a person that you had known on earth and with whom you had
considerable trouble.  You could not / did not settle your problems on earth,
did not speak nor have any relationship or peace.  (Many live this scenario
every day – even between persons attending the same church).
***If your heavenly neighbor is someone to whom you cannot speak –
WHAT KIND HEAVEN OF IS THAT ????

There needs to be / there must be a time when the Family of God can / will
resolve / will reconcile the problems they had on earth --- SO THAT HEAVEN
CAN BE HEAVEN.
***THIS IS WHAT THE ABOVE VERSES TEACH;
1)        There will be offences / problems / anger / sin.
2)        Both the offended and the offender are instructed to reconcile.
3)        Many will not or cannot be reconciled.
4)        After physical death there will be judges who will help to settle
offences / conflicts.

Please read Revelation 20: 4 – 6.
These 3 verses describe the 1,000 year / millennial reign of Jesus Christ.
**There are thrones and persons / judges on the thrones.
**Judgment was / will be committed to them.
**The mortars and the last generation of the family of God will be there.
(The LAST (those who did not worship or receive the mark of the beast)
being present, means that all are there – the Family of God is complete).
**They reign with Christ.
**They are the first resurrection and the 2nd death has no power over
them.

This millennial judgment does NOT pertain to salvation but is a time of
judgment within the Family of God – by the Family of God.

SO --- it is a judgment to settle offences, disputes – sins committed among /
between persons of the Family of God.
Thus to take seriously the teachings of Jesus Christ – to settle your
offences / problems as soon as possible – becomes very valuable
instructions.
**To settle your problems – REPENT OF YOUR SINS here on earth may
shorten your time before the judges during the millennium.
(Interesting observation; The Family of God’s offences / sins are so many
that our Lord has designated 1,000 years to correct them --- SO THAT
HEAVEN CAN BE HEAVEN.)

JESUS’ TEACHINGS GIVE TO US THE BEST FORMULA FOR A QUALITY LIFE
AND PEACE WITH GOD AND MANKIND.

“REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND.”   ---- Jesus Christ.

** Personal – how to – have peace / reconciliation with mankind;  -----.

“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men”.
Romans 12: 18.
Life is living proof that we cannot live in complete harmony with everyone.

“It is impossible that no offences should come ---.”  Luke 17: 1.

But to live a quality / peaceful life we should make every possible effort to
reconcile our problems / offences / sins with each other as human beings ---
For this is the teaching of Jesus Christ.

In personal everyday experience – this is difficult.
Jesus’ apostles upon understanding these instructions answered, “Lord,
increase our faith”.  Luke 17: 5.

In practical daily experience:
When we are offended by someone or see that you have offended go to
them with a reconciliatory attitude to attempt to right the wrong.  If you are
well received you have righted a wrong, avoided a millennial court
appearance and gained a friend.
If you are not received with no possible way to reconcile you should go to
our Lord in prayer.  Ask His advice.  Ask His forgiveness for your part of a
bad situation thus delivering yourself from guilt and thus the ability to
forgive the other person.  You may have peace, but with expectation of
judgment to come.

Please --- let us take this seriously because Jesus said, “It is impossible that
no offences should come, but woe to him through whom they do come.  It
would have been far better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck,
and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these
little ones.”  Luke 17: 1 – 2.

"NOW THEN, WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, AS THOUGH GOD WERE
PLEADING THROUGH US: WE IMPLORE YOU ON CHRIST'S BEHALF, BE
RECONCILED TO GOD.”   Please reference -- 1 Corinthians 5: 12 – 21.

IT IS A VERY GOOD / A NECESSARY THING AS HUMAN BEINGS -- TO REPENT /
TO BE RECONCILED TO EACH OTHER !!!!!!!!!!!!

---- BUT -----

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY ONE -----  WHO DIED FOR YOUR SINS ---- WHO
HAS THE POWER TO FORGIVE SIN  --  WHO CAN GIVE / GRANT SALVATION
THROUGH REPENTANCE OF PERSONAL SIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

" DEAR - LORD JESUS --- PLEASE FORGIVE MY SINS".         dle
